Uplifting Students for Holistic Achievement (USHA) Scheme for Girls

The USHA Scheme is a dedicated program designed to provide financial and educational support to deserving students who aspire to achieve academic excellence and holistic development. This scholarship scheme is committed to fostering a brighter future for young individuals by removing financial barriers and empowering them to pursue their educational goals.

The USHA Scheme offers financial aid to girl students to cover a range of educational expenses, including tuition fees, textbooks, school supplies, and other essential costs.

The program recognizes and rewards outstanding academic performance, encouraging students to strive for excellence in their studies. Beyond academics, the USHA Scholarship Scheme places a strong emphasis on holistic development. It supports extracurricular activities, personality development, and life skills training to nurture well-rounded individuals.

Award Benefits: Selected scholars receive financial support tailored to their educational needs. In addition, they benefit from mentorship, workshops, and access to resources that contribute to their overall development.

Eligibility:
The USHA Scholarship Scheme is open to students who meet certain eligibility criteria, including academic performance, financial need, and commitment to holistic development.

1. Academic Eligibility

  • Must be currently enrolled in class 11 to Undergraduate program in a recognized school and college (upload ID card)
  • Must submit a recommendation letter from the principal of the institution on the letterhead with the stamp to be uploaded with the application.
  • Should have secured at least 60% marks (or equivalent grade) in the previous academic year (A copy of marksheet attested by the principal to be uploaded with the application).

2. Financial Criteria

  • The applicant’s family income should not exceed ₹2,50,000 per annum from all sources (Income certificate issued by the block development officer (BDO) or by a competent authority to be uploaded with the application).
  • Preference will be given to students from economically weaker sections (EWS) and socially disadvantaged backgrounds.
  • Preference will be given to students
    • from rural or marginalized communities
    • who have lost one or both parents or belong to single parent families.
    • who have a strong interest in pursuing higher education but lack financial support.

Students interested in applying for the USHA Scholarship Scheme can submit their application form along with:

  • Academic transcripts

  • Recommendation letter from the principal on the letterhead

Bridging Resources for Aspiring Juniors (BRAJ) Scholarship for Boys

  1. Academic Excellence: Maintain a minimum 60% in their graduate study program.

  2. Enrollment Status: Be currently enrolled or have secured admission in a recognized institution or program offering professional training.

  3. Residency: Be a resident of India.

  4. Age Limit: Applicants should not be more than 24 years of age at the time of application

  5. Financial Need: Demonstrate financial need, providing relevant documentation as required. The applicant’s family income should not exceed ₹2,50,000 per annum from all sources (Income certificate issued by the block development officer (BDO) or by a competent authority to be uploaded with the application).
